My poor Canon GIII: Bought on eBay for 100 dollars. It worked fine for a week and then the shutter got sticky. Maybe if I turn it in for servicing it can be saved.

Got this because I think it looks shiny. I think I paid 100 euro for the body, 50 for the lens and perhaps 15 for the hood.

If developing and printing hadn't been so expensive, I would have used this one a lot more. I'm wondering whether I should sell it, but I don't think it would be worth the trouble.

My first real digital camera (after an unfortunate encounter with a Trust 'camera') was this great Olympus 2000-Z. 2.1. Cost me a fair bit: 1700 guilders.

After the C-2000 I wanted something I could pocket easily. I didn't have a lot of camera knowledge back then and was immediately disappoint by the lack of manual settings on this camera. Lovely little camera, but I could no longer deal with its grainyness (compared to my 300d pictures) so I got a Canon G5 second hand, only to find out that one's got a problem with noise too. If it weren't so scratched and worn I'd sell it. It has served me well.
