Description:
I have been collecting full cigarette packs since the middle 1970s. At present my primary interests include Latin America, Africa and Asia. I have about 2,100 full packs today. I am particularly fascinated with pre-1980 packs, Marlboro (regular) produced in different countries and bearing various national tax stamps, and cigarettes from exotic and little-known countries. Wanna know what they smoke in Iran or North Korea? Or see what brands were on sale in the Soviet Union? You can find those in my collection. How about Abkhazia, a unilaterally-independent state on the Black Sea coast? They do smoke there too, and they have their own tax stamps in the Abkhaz language! And many more...
Oh yes, click on the image to read my comments, I'm sure they will be amusing as well as informative!

I collect many vintage Chinese full cigarette packs from 1950s to 1990s.Do you like them?Because of the tradition of collecting cigarette pack in China, collectors seldom collect full packs. They collect flat packs or 3D box normally. So the vintage chinese full pack is very rare!!If you want to see some images of them, you could contact me.

Hi! I'm happy for finding a comrade whos collecting cigarette boxes. I like it too, much. But as i'm collecting post stamps and phonecards, i decided to sell my humble collection of cigarette boxes, of course, to a good buyer. You can contact me via e-mail(i think you can), or you can find me here, among the collectors. My nick-username is umjetnicka_djela. Aha, i'll send you pictures of cigarette boxes with info if you are interested. Thank you and have a nice day. Nice boxes :)

Hey there, I live in Argentina and used to collect cigarette boxes when I was a kid. I've got around a hundred of 'em. If you're interested maybe I can sell you the whole as a lot. My mail is: bodhi@fibertel.com.ar
Thanks

Man, you do like your smokes! :) That is awesome! I especially dig the Soviet stuff, haven't seen those since my childhood, I used to collect them as well when I lived back in Rep. of Georgia.

Your collection is superb! Although probably politically incorrect cigarettes go hand in hand with fast cars, leather jackets, rebellion and anti establishment - everything cool! And hey, vintage cigarettes are doubly cool!!

Sticking them on walls damages packs. I keep them in shoe boxes, early ones reside peacefully in Revell and Monogram plastic model kits (some in a box where Captain Kirk's USS Enterprise once rested). Extended exposure to any kind of light damages packs.

I wonder how do you keep it? In boxes? On the shelves? Or...separate room for so great collection? I'm from Russia and I saw early some people here just stick it on walls as wallpapers...

I have not seen Payaso cigarettes. I wish I could have a look!

This is an amazing collection -- very cool, how an inexpensive and ubiquitous consumer item can be such a window into a time and a place.

Have you ever come across "Payaso" cigarettes? In the early nineties, when I was passing through Guatemala, I remember smoking them. They had unique packaging -- a drawing of a laughing clown (Payaso means "clown" in Spanish). I think I have an old wrapper in a box somewhere, pasted into a journal.
