Description:
The most amazing thing about this collection is that all of these bugs were given to me by Mother Nature. That is to say, I don't go out hunting them and I NEVER kill them, I find them in perfect condition already... deceased. I display them on a pretty brass tray in my living room. Most guests are startled to see a platter of dead insects. I think they're beautiful and interesting.

What an endearing collection. I love it. If I were a dead bug I think it would be an honor to be valued this way. And I like that you name them, too.

Yeah...at first it is a kinda creepy looking collection but when I think about it, they are creatures of this planet just like us humans trying to survive and exist...we are probably kind creepy looking to them...LOL!!!!...definately interesting...

I'm glad to finally see a collection that's as weird as mine! And ironically, along the same line...would your bugs ever consider having their very own little coffins?! Cheers to your collection!

Amazing. As a kid, I found a beautiful locust and hid it away in a box...only to find a huge maggot in its place a few days later. Yuck! Now I know I can just keep them out in the open!

Well actually, the bugs are lying on a tray open to all the elements in the room. They do get dusty and a bit dried out. I try not to handle them very often. Cleaning is a no-no! However, sometimes a gentle puff of breath will blow away some of the dust.
